The three-day "PHASE UP | A transnational network for digital health" kicks off on 20 June in the premises of the Policlinico di Bari with the Start-Up Competition, the eHealth hackathon open to start-ups, spin-offs and enthusiasts of the topic.

The PHASE-Thon, this is the specific name of the competition, will consist of 5 challenges to be tackled by 5 groups, led in turn by 5 thematic experts who will explain the issue at hand and support them in their work as coaches. The POF - Proof of Concept developed will then be assessed by a jury consisting of representatives from the worlds of science, business and institutions, and will be awarded the following day at the international conference on 21 June.

For the 1st and 2nd prize winners there will be a cash prize and a business coaching course!

The entire initiative, in which 9 partners from Italy, Albania and Montenegro are cooperating, is part of the PHASE project financed by the INTERREG IPA CBC Italy Albania Montenegro 2014-2020 programme and aims to promote innovation in the health sector in order to significantly improve people's quality of life through technologies that overcome physical limitations in ordinary and extraordinary care paths.
